Croft Cottage
Located in the middle of a
working croft with spectacular views across open fields to
Isle Martin, Ben Mhor Coigach and the Summer Isles. Hens roam freely around the
croft and may even pay you a visit in the garden! The cottage is located on the
hillside well back from the main road offering a relaxing break in this
beautiful part of Scotland.
Dating back to 1850, the cottage has been in our family since the
1940s. In the 1990s the cottage was renovated but still retains its
original features.
The cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps up to seven persons.
A twin bedroom is located on the ground floor.
A double bedroom is located on the first floor.
A third, family bedroom is also located on the first floor and
contains a double and single bed and has an en-suite bathroom, wash hand basin,
toilet, bath and overhead shower.
A separate bathroom is located on the first floor of the cottage and
also contains a wash hand basin, toilet, bath and overhead shower.
On the ground floor of the property there is a large open plan kitchen, dining
and living room area.
In 2011 the original porch of the cottage was replaced by a spacious
sun lounge, ideal to relax, read a book, or just soak up the views and enjoy the
peace and quiet. Patio doors lead out to a paved area in the garden with a
garden bench and table and chairs.
